Mini Bells & Bows is a fun packed session of sing-a-long nursery rhymes, both traditional & interactive for the whole family, from birth to Great Grand Parents. In our 45 minute session, we learn rhyming, counting and colour songs, read original stories with puppets, and share child friendly instruments for all to play in a safe & fun environment. Parent participation is optional, yet you will want to join in the fun, especially for our finale, where we become a mini-choir and sing in harmony (no experience necessary)! Each session closes with bubble and recorded music which always leaves the children smiling & inspired.
In line with Government guidelines, our indoor sessions are on hold. However, we are excited to tailor our sessions to include themed picnic’s and private parties adhering to social distancing measures. If you are looking for a children's entertainer for your next party, please drop us an email. We look forward to hearing from you!
Hello my name is Alison and I am a singer and write stories and poetry. Running Mini Bells & Bows, I am a registered DBS Children's worker also teaching 1-to-1 singing lessons for children and adults. Last but not least I am a Mother to three wonderful girls aged 18, 20 and 33, based in South East London yet flexible to travel.
Mini Bells & Bows grew through my experience of leading a children's choir at a local Primary school for 6 years. My passion is to provide education through acapella singing, with an understanding that music has a significant impact in early child development, from strengthening motor, social and language skills, as well as improving Parent/Carer-child bonding.
The heart of what we do is supporting community with care and creativity. Each session ends with time for adults to share experiences, and over time build friendship and mutual support. Occasionally we invite specialist practitioners to share information useful to the group, from breastfeeding to maintaining good mental health.
We look forward to meeting & singing with you all soon! Blessings, Alison.
